about particle camp

Our camp will monitor the air quality of Black Rock City. We will take baseline measurements 6 months before the Burn, and then begin gathering data a few days before the gates of the City open to the public. Our camp will feature constantly-updated displays showing various air quality metrics of Black Rock City and how they are affected by the influx of tens of thousands of citizens. Scientists will be available periodically to help residents interpret this data and understand how they can improve their footprint on the planet while away from Black Rock City.
